Opis stanowiska

Assist and provide support to SAFRAN Corporate Purchasing and SAFRAN affiliates Purchasing & Supply Chain demands toward suppliers and/or industrial partners in China and ASEAN region covering the following:

-Supplier Performance Management (SPM): Monitor and pilot the operational quality and logistic performance for a panel of suppliers from start of production (DVI approval). Ensure the consistency of the improvement actions defined by each of the functions in charge of suppliers (Quality, Purchasing and Procurement). Pilot the action plans at suppliers in the event of recurrent non-performance and continue this until performance returns to an acceptable level. Conduct industrial assessments as needed. Advise and monitor, within the framework of existing purchasing contracts, the establishment of improvement plans at the suppliers, which allow them to increase their level of industrial maturity.
- Support affiliates on recovery plan set-up and following-up.

-Marketing and Survey: Conduct market research to identify current and/or potential suppliers to meet affiliate sourcing strategies / needs (commodity, program, volume, and timing) in the Asia zone, in line with Safran Group Purchasing Policy and strategy. Perform supplier assessments (risk, maturity, capability and capacity) per Safran / affiliate procedures and provide a supplier synthesis document.

-Purchasing: conduct RFX, negotiations, contract roll-out, qualification, audit and visit

-Supplier Development (SD): Perform supplier lean assessment audits to identify opportunities to deploy lean-Sigma actions, which can result in improvements in supply chain performance (cost, quality, delivery, innovation). From these identified improvement opportunities, and with the support and agreement of both the affiliate and the supplier, initiate improvement actions utilizing the lean sigma toolbox, delivering improvements as agreed and targeted during the assessment phase.


New Program Introduction (NPI): Develop a part / program industrialization plan, including timing, in accordance with affiliate needs and with the agreement of the supplier. Ensure the supplier follows this planning (including main milestones and toll gate reviews as appropriate) for the specific part / program. Define with the supplier the Industrial Flow Chart of the new products. Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, which could delay the NPI phase. Support supplier completion of the Industrial Validation requirements on time. Monitor the NPI cost of the products and if required, participate in improvement action plans needed to reach the initially defined serial production cost. Continuously evaluate the opportunities and challenge in terms of preparation for production ramp up and lead rate readiness reviews as required

Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA): Provide support and training to Asia suppliers to understand SAFRAN quality requirements with a particular focus on Process FMEA and Industrial Validation Process (PVI) requirements. Ensure that suppliers comply with SAFRAN / Zodiac Aerospace quality requirements. Review and evaluate DVIs and verify the reliability of the supplier’s processes and control plans. Identify quality risks and supporting actions directed at mitigating these risks. Support root cause analysis and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using 8D analysis as needed. Verify the efficiency of the actions implemented. Monitor Quality Performance, participate to Performance Reviews with key suppliers, determine quality objectives specific to the supplier and contribute to the achievement of these objectives. During certification tests campaigns of key components, participate to test witnessing activities at test labs and generate a report on the compliance of the test setup.

Special Process (SP): Provide support and training to Asia suppliers to understand SAFRAN quality requirements with a particular focus on Special Process qualification and validation. Ensure that suppliers comply with SAFRAN quality requirements. Review and evaluate Special Process. Identify quality risks and supporting actions directed at mitigating these risks. Monitor Special Process accreditation follow up. During certification tests campaigns, participate to test witnessing activities at test labs and generate a report on the compliance of the special process ability.

-Continuous Improvement: Participate to continuous Improvement activities and promote IP implementation in the Asia Supply Chain team.

Job Duties / Attributions
1. 1. Drive, support and secure operational KPI performance for the different functions covered by Asia Supply Chain team – KPI dashboard defined in collaboration with Asia SCM director.
2. Support execution of Service agreement signed by Asia Supply Chain Department
3. Support KPI improvement action plan in collaboration with each job manager
4. Assist SAFRAN Corporate Production Purchasing and Group Subsidiaries Production Purchasing department demands toward potential suppliers and/or industrial partners.
5. Participate to Group internal network animation within China and to the coordination of purchasing actions from subsidiaries within China and ASEAN region.
6. Roll out Central Purchasing strategies and processes.
7. Establish regional action plans and contract to develop synergies between sites for purchasing families managed regionally.
8. Launch RFI & RFQ and manage its efficient following-up with suppliers and related subsidiaries.
9. Report on savings and purchasing performance.
10. Pre-evaluate suppliers.
11. Manage and secure supplier OTD performance
12. Participate in mission optimization (SD)
13. Perform readiness audit & capacity survey
14. Support team management providing factual performance result and participate to the team development plan in collaboration with Asia SCM team director. Team development and coordination : 5~10 persons.


Wymagany profil

Formation/Graduate Level : 5 years - Engineer (Mechanical is preferential)
Langues/Languages : 1- English / 2- Chinese / 3- French is an interesting option
Aptitudes et expériences souhaitées/ Skills and experience required :
Min 3-5 years’ experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Good oral and written communication skills
Capacity to work in matrix organization
Autonomous / Rigorous / Spirit oriented on performance

Mobility China / Asia (25 % working time)
